Terms of use
Ofis is a messaging service operated by Mark Pentecost. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't create the account.
Your account
Your account is identified by your phone number and you must be the holder of that number. If you lose the number, you lose access: there is no other way to recover the account.
You are responsible for keeping access to your phone and for closing sessions you don't recognise, from Settings › Devices.
What you can't do
Don't use Ofis for spam, harassment, impersonation, fraud, or to spread illegal content or material that harms minors.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. When possible, we'll tell you and explain why.
Your content
What you send is yours and you are responsible for it. We claim no rights over your messages or files: we only store and deliver them so the service works.
Ofis is not a permanent archive. If you delete a message or an account, we don't promise we can recover it. If keeping something matters to you, save it yourself.
The service is provided as is
Ofis depends on your connection, your carrier's network and third-party services. There may be outages, delays or messages that don't arrive. We don't guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors, and there is no guaranteed response time from the support email.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Closure, changes and governing law
You can close your account whenever you want from Settings › Privacy and data. We may close it if you break these terms or if we stop providing the service, giving you reasonable notice unless the law requires otherwise. If we change these terms we'll let you know inside the app; if you don't accept the change, you can close the account. They are governed by the law of the United States. Contact: support@ofisapp.com.
